Constance M. ‘Connie’ Solveson

Constance M. “Connie” Solveson (nee Bostwick)Constance M. “Connie” Solveson (nee Bostwick) of Waukesha was born to eternal life Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at the age of 89 years.

She was the beloved mother of Charles (Trish Rogers-Capulli) and loving grandmother of Margaret and Christine.

She was born on January 11, 1926, in Aztalan, to the late Wallace and Estelle (nee Crandall) Bostwick.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Curtis; her brother Franklin Bostwick; and sister Ethel Cross.

Connie graduated from Waukesha High School in 1944 and started her career as a telephone operator at Fox Head Brewery. Later she worked for over 31 years for Norman E. Schley CPA before retiring in 1991.

She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and a past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #453. She became an accomplished pool player and bowler.

Connie had a quick wit and pleasant personality. She relished all the funny stories she had published over the years in the Alex Thien column of the Waukesha Freeman.

Connie’s family will honor her life with a private celebration at a later date.
