WAUKESHA

Elijah J. ‘Eli’ Kelliher

Dec. 1, 1991 — July 15, 2015

Elijah J. “Eli” Kelliher of Waukesha was born on December 1, 1991, and was born to eternal life on July 15, 2015. where Eli was an amazing young man.

Everything he did, he did with greatness: whether it was bumping so loud in his car that the neighbors could hear him from their driveway, putting together so many puzzles that there are still 40 more waiting to be framed under his parents’ bed, or filling hundreds of pages of notes with hilarious instructions on how to take a road trip, Eli was truly one of a kind. Even in his toughest moments, Eli’s strength and happiness came from helping others. If he was here, he would not want tears (in fact his exact words would be “no babies!”). Instead, he would probably want to tell you two things.

First, learn about epilepsy, there is not enough being done to help the thousands of people who struggle with this disease. Second, put down your phone and electronics and spend some quality time with each other. It doesn’t matter what you do, but do something with your family and friends because those are the moments that always mattered most to Eli.

Family was everything to Eli and he will be dearly missed by his parents, Chris and Theresa Kelliher; brother, Noah (Elyse); sisters, Allison (Tony) Hopkins and Tori Kelliher; nieces, Makenna and Everleigh; grandparents, Al Wampner, Judy Kelliher and Harvey Kelliher; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Eli was preceded in death by his grandmother Sandy Wampner.
