Elaine Mae James
Elaine Mae James, 83, of Mesa, Ariz., passed away at her home on July 30, 2015.
She was born Elaine Mae Feske on September 29, 1931, in Laona. She married Calvin (Cal) James, and they had three sons.
Elaine and Cal were married for 46 years before his death. They also cared for seven foster children, and were legal guardians for Barbara (Barbie) Roeser, who preceded her in death. Elaine retired from Ethan Allen School in Wales after 23 years of service.
After Calís death, she continued to live in Neshkoro and wintered in Arizona. She permanently moved to Mesa in 2005.
Elaine was a member of Our Saviorís Lutheran Church. She was active in the McGavin Ranch park, where she lived for the past 10 years. Elaine enjoyed travelling, golfing, playing cards and her Green Bay Packers! She lived life fully, and was thankful to God for her family, health and many blessings.
Elaine is survived by sons Jerry and wife Mary of Grapevine, Texas, Bill of Tomah, and Dennis of West Allis; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and companion Joe Scozzari.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Delafield and at McGavin Ranch in Mesa. Her ashes will be interred in Delafield Cemetery next to her husband and father.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elaineís memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (for ALS) or the American Cancer Society.
