James Norman Larson
Nov. 25, 1956 – Aug. 8, 2015

James Norman Larson was born to Norman Emil and Anna Jane (nee Griffiths) Larson in Waukesha on Nov. 25, 1956, and he found eternal peace on August 8, 2015.

Jim loved his family and was fortunate to live with his extended family that provided excellent care throughout his illness. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Jerry) Johnson, and grandchildren Alyssa Brugger and Kayla, Dustin, Christian and Ashlynn Johnson. He is further survived by his sister, Bobbi (Jerry) Mueller, and nephew Andrew Mueller. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved uncle James Griffiths.

Jim loved the family farm where he lived most of his life and learned the value of hard work.

He spent many years working for James Mann & Associates, and went on to work for Midwest Industrial Lumber before his retirement from Pro Driver. Jim was an avid reader that enjoyed Louis L’Amour novels and he loved John Deere tractors, country music, John Wayne movies, and the Green Bay Packers.

Jim was a lifelong member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Private graveside services will be held at Jerusalem Cemetery on Wednesday, Aug. 12, prior to interment.

The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to Dr. Paul Lemarbre for an effective treatment plan and Dr. Martin Kern for years of exceptional care and compassion that gave Jim six years longer than anyone dreamed possible.

Special thanks also go to Amy with Hospice Advantage for her gentle care as Jim faced his final journey.
