Joyce Mary (Dable) Wedeman, 94, died Tuesday, August 11, 2015, in Carlsbad, Calif. Born June 5, 1921, in Browning, to Christ and Mary (Raduege) Dable, she was a resident of Oceanside, Calif., since 1969. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Harold Wedeman; four brothers and four sisters; and a daughter, Nancy Schlei.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Wedeman of Oakland, Calif.; grandchildren Vicki, Bradley and Melissa; and several great-grandchildren.
She was an office manager at Coors Brewing, most known as a member and friendly greeter at Immanuel Lutheran Church, enjoyed gardening, traveling 50 states in the motor home with Harold, camping, playing cards with friends, telling great stories, and loved to share her faith about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
There was a viewing from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, August 14, at Eternal Hills. Funeral services are scheduled for 12:30 p.m. today, Aug. 15, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1900 S. Nevada St., Oceanside. The Rev. Marc Engelhardt will officiate. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
