Grace Elizabeth Klingler (nee Coakley) Grace Elizabeth Klingler nee Coakley, 95, of Waukesha, born on Oct. 6, 1919, became an angel on Friday, Aug. 14, 2015.

She was the cherished mom of Sharon (Jerry) Wright, Bill (Constance) Klingler, Kathleen Pallen, Anne (Raymond) Erbe and Michael (Linda) Klingler; warm-hearted grandmother of Lisa, Lori, Lance, Sherri, Theresa, Kristine, Brian, Katherine, Marisa and Matthew; blessed great-grandma of Meredith, Kenneth, Mitchell, Leah, Madeleine, Marisa and Mackenzie; and sister-in-law of Velma Klingler. Mom is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews and caring friends. Proceeded to eternal life 40 years ago by her husband, Erwin; son, Ronald at age 21; infant son, Tommy; siblings, Dan, Mary and Dick; son-in-law, Lee Pallen; and five infant grandchildren.

Grace devoted her life to her husband, Erwin, making a loving Christian home for their six children during 32 years of marriage. Believing that “the Good Lord cannot be out done in generosity,” Mom taught us to serve Him by her example. Mom loved camping, swimming, roller skating, playing cards, embroidering, music, singing and dancing. She truly enjoyed countless family gatherings. Mom was the spokeswoman for the Bereavment Community of the Archdiocese, as well as a charter member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wauwatosa. Mom was very active in several Catholic parishes. She served as president of Christian Mothers, organizer of the largest Christmas craft fair of that time, and worked tirelessly for the church. Mom’s 95 years were full of life.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to School Sisters of St. Francis, 1515 S. Layton Blvd., Milwaukee, WI 53215, may be given in appreciation for many years of Catholic education.

Visitation will be held 9:00 AM on Wednesday Aug. 19, at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. The Rev. Curt Frederick will be presiding. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
