Mary Ruth Brunsch
Mary Ruth Brunsch, wonderful mother of three and loving wife, died peacefully in her Pewaukee home on August 15, 2015. Mary lived 91 enchanted years before she suddenly died.
One of four children, Mary Ruth Musson was born in Moline, Kansas, on December 6, 1923. As a young girl she moved to California, then after World War II and moving to Nevada, she met her husband, Walter. They were married in 1946 and moved to his home in Milwaukee, where she raised three children, enjoyed three grandchildren, and lived the rest of her life.
Mary said she always loved San Francisco and her time in California; however, she made Wisconsin home for herself and her family. She worked hard at freezing and canning fruits and vegetables, sewing curtains and other items for her home, and taking care of her family. She enjoyed reading and gardening; her flower gardens were always lovely. She was an active member of the PTA and loved raising and standing up for her three kids. She had a warm personality and a sharp mind. She liked politics and enjoyed expounding. Mary was a wonderful mother and grandmother and people were naturally drawn to her.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ruth Musson; husband, Walter Brunsch; brother Richard Musson; sister Helen Bernards; and grandson Aaron Brunsch.
She is survived by her sister June Warren; her children Susan (Marvin) Frerich, Robin (Juliann) Brunsch and Greg (Lenora) Brunsch; and grandchildren Jeff and Amy Frerich. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 22, at 11:00 AM at the Evert-Luko Funeral Home. Visitation at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Her final rest will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Milwaukee.
