Gerald Andrew Kendzior Jr. (Butch)
Oct. 15, 1959 — Aug. 15, 2015

Gerald 'Butch' Andrew Kendzior Jr.Gerald Andrew Kendzior Jr. (Butch), 55, of the Town of Mukwonago, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015, from a heart attack. He was born October 15, 1959, in Rice Lake, the son of Gerald Andrew Kendzior Sr. and Sylvia Mae Kendzior (Phetteplace).

Gerry graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in electrical and computer engineering. He moved to California and began his career in avionics at Northrop. He married Nancy Ann Schneider in 1986 at St. Peters Church in Collins. The two moved to St. Louis, Mo. Following the birth of their first two children, Brian and Amanda, the family relocated to Marietta, Ga., where Gerry helped to develop the F-22 Raptor Advanced Tactical Fighter at Lockheed Martin. Wanting to be closer to their family after the birth of Sarah, their third child, the family moved to Mukwonago. Gerry accepted a position at GE Medical in Waukesha, where he spent 21 years working in medical imaging.

Gerry was truly at home in the great outdoors: hiking, fishing, hunting with his hunting crew, canoeing, windsurfing, skiing, camping, planting countless trees, and helping to maintain the family lake property. More than anything, he loved to share his passion for the outdoors with others as a leader in the Boy Scouts of America (Troop 15 and Crew 88). An Eagle Scout himself, he helped to motivate and inspire many young men to achieve scouting’s highest honor.

Gerry is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, Brian; daughters, Amanda and Sarah; his mother, Sylvia; his mother-in-law, Bernice Schneider; brothers, Donald (Wendy) and Steven (Laura); sister, Kathleen (Jack) Cummings; his nieces and nephews; and his beloved Labrador, Luke.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Andrew Sr.; and his father-in-law, Elwood Fredrick Schneider (Woody).

Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, August 21, at The Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Strickland, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will take place starting at 10am.
