Ruth Elaine Predith

Ruth Predith was called home on August 22, 2015, at the age of 78. She was the beloved wife of Michael for 34 years and loving mother of Rev. Dr. Daniel (Sarah) Czaplewski of Milwaukee, Jeffrey (Ramona) Czaplewski of Emigrant, Mont., Christine (Gary) Mauer of Oconomowoc, Richard Czaplewski of Watertown, Andrew (Jacquelyn) Czaplewski of Colorado Springs, Colo., and two step-children, Sean Predith of Bonner Springs, Kan., and Shelley (Scott) Schroeder of Fort Atkinson. Ruth was loved by her 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Edith Wollerman; sister-in-law Adele Duelge; and nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Ruth was preceded home by two sisters, Evelyn Lintner and Bernice Harmeyer; four brothers, Ewald in infancy, Reuben, Ewald and William; brothers-in-law Russell Wollerman, Joseph Harmeyer and Howard Lintner; and sister-in-law Virginia Duelge. She was born on February 20, 1937, in Milwaukee. Ruth was the youngest of eight children born to William and Elsie Duelge. She retired from AO Smith Automotive after 23 years. Ruth was president and active member of the South Shore Yacht Club Auxiliary and past president, vice president and historian of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 537.
A visitation for Ruth will be held on Thursday, August 27, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the 6:00 p.m. funeral service at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, W240N3103 Pewaukee, Road, Pewaukee, WI 53072. The burial will be private at Forest Cemetery in Lakewood.
