Marion E. Karl (nee Rupp)

Marion E. Karl (nee Rupp) passed away Wednesday morning, Aug. 26, 2015, at Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. Marion was born to George and Ella (nee Willing) Rupp at Waukesha Memorial Hospital on March 4, 1924, the oldest of six children. She graduated from Waukesha High School.

Marion is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob”; daughter Jean (Tom) Mahnke, Waupaca; son Robert “Rob” (Jan), Kaukauna, and son David “Skip” (Karen), Stevens Point. She is survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Marion is survived by her sisters Bernice (the late Walter) Sasse, Menomonee Falls; Gloria (the late Monte) Cornwell, Eagle Point, Ore.; Sandy (Paul) Reklaitis, Sutherlin, Ore.. She was preceded in death by sister Esther (the late Bill) Nicholas and brother Erwin (Joyce) Rupp.

A celebration of life will take place on Monday, Aug. 31, at Prairie Home Cemetery, 605 S. Prairie Ave., Waukesha. Pastor Jason Hacker of Grace Lutheran Church will officiate. Visitation at Prairie Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. with services at 11:30 a.m. Procession to graveside to follow. Memorials may be made in Marion’s name to Grace Lutheran Church, Waukesha.

Marion’s family wishes to thank the staff at both Park Vista Assisted Living and Wisconsin Veterans Home for all the kindness and support given to Marion.
