HUDSON Patricia Tremaine
There she taught thousands of students, always striving to create an interactive and fresh learning environment. In retirement, Pat found great satisfaction teaching English as a Second Language (ESL). Pat’s son, Don Brandies, learned many things from his mother, including his passion for travel which Pat introduced to him at an early age, traveling extensively in the U.S. and Europe. Pat’s creativity shone through in her love of quilting and gardening, creating over 60 quilts and earning a master gardener certification. Her hobbies introduced her to many new friends, both in Waukesha and River Falls, where she moved later in retirement. With the help of her extended family and the wonderful friends, Pat faced her fight with pancreatic cancer with strength, grace and a healthy dose of German stubbornness. Patricia Tremaine was much loved, will be greatly missed, and is forever in our hearts. She is survived by he son, Don Brandies; siblings, Suzanne Tremaine, John Lawrence Tremaine, Mary Tremaine, Dorothy Tremaine; nieces, nephews and extended Tremaine family. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, John and Genevieve (Goetz) Tremaine.
