Ron D. Ebert
Ron D. Ebert, 57, of Ixonia, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at Watertown Regional Medical Center.
Ron Dale Ebert was born on September 29, 1957, in Watertown, the son of Milton and Jane (nee Loppnow) Ebert. He graduated from Northwestern Preparatory High School and attended Northwestern College in Watertown. He was a member of St. Paulís Lutheran Church in Ixonia.
Ron owned and operated Ebertís Greenhouse Village in Ixonia with his brother Mark. Ron truly enjoyed growing the most gorgeous flowers and hanging baskets at Ebertís, but his real passion was found in serving God everyday as an example of how Jesus would want us to live and treat others.
Ron loved playing basketball and volleyball, jogging and working out at the gym. He was also excited that he hit every pitch in the fast pitch batting cage recently in Door County. He especially enjoyed the short trips to Door County and the Dells with his brother Mark, sister-in-law Renee and niece Sierra; visits to Shorehaven to see his mom; and cherished conversations about faith with family and friends.
Ron enjoyed watching and cheering for the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Bucks. He read his Bible faithfully and will always be remembered for his huge smile and kind heart.
Ron is survived by his mother, Jane Ebert of Oconomowoc; sisters, Diane (Dennis) OíBrien of Oconomowoc and Linda (Dave) Mickelson of Ixonia; brothers, Alan Ebert of Watertown and Mark (Renee) Ebert of Ixonia; nieces and nephews, Dave (Alison) OíBrien, Katie (Ryan) Montgomery and their children, Maddy and Owen Montgomery, Jenni Mickelson, Neil Haiamerl, Joyce Haiamerl, Terri Haiamerl and Sierra Ebert; as well as other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Ebert.
