James R. Eilman
James R. Eilman passed away on Sept. 4, 2015 at the age of 72. His is lovingly missed by all who knew him, but we find solace knowing that his devout faith has brought him to peace with Jesus.
Jim was born to parents Bob and Peggy Eilman on July 28, 1943, in Milwaukee. He was a graduate of Marquette Law School, class of 1968, and practiced law in Wisconsin for 42 years. He was passionate about his family, his work and his love for Door County.
He was a loving husband to Elaine Eilman. He was an awesome father to all his children, Christine (Jacob) Neigum, Chad Eilman, Jeffrey (Crystal) Eilman, Bryanna Kunkel and Jesse Kunkel. He was a caring grandfather to Carson, Kylie and Bradyn Neigum, and Claire and Ella Eilman. He is dearly missed by his sister, Kathleen Anselmo, brother-in-law, Joseph Anselmo and his nephew, Mark (Kathy) Anselmo.
He was a trusted adviser to many, a skilled captain and always quick with a smile and a laugh. He was a role model who constantly demonstrated strength, courage, humility and his faith in God.
