Nathalie ‘Nat’ Rowe
Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Nathalie “Nat” Rowe, 90, of Dousman, passed away on Thursday night, Sept. 10, 2015, at Three Pillars long-term care facility after complications of a stroke and heart disease. Nat was born on April 9, 1925, in Green Bay, to Frank and Laurena (Germain) Kiedinger.
Nat graduated from St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing and did her post graduate work at Marquette University. After completion of her bachelor’s degree, Nat worked at the Milwaukee Health Department as a public health nurse until her first son, David, was born.
Nat was also very active in her community and volunteered as a den mother and Girl Scout leader, and as vice president and president of the Women’s Medical Auxiliary. Nat was also very passionate of her work with the American Red Cross and American Diabetes Association.
Nat married Dr. Donald “Don” Rowe, MD, on June 3, 1950, at Annunciation Church in Green Bay. Nat was a member of St. Bruno’s Catholic Parish in Dousman.
Nat is survived by her sister Germain (Kiedinger) Manka of California; brother Neil Keidinger of Green Bay; son John (Mary) Rowe of Scottsdale, Ariz.; daughter Mary (Frank) Rosecky of Beaver Dam; son Michael (Sue) Rowe of Delafield; and son Peter (Liza) Rowe of McKinney, Texas; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Nat was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dr. Donald “Don” Rowe, MD; and son David B. Rowe.
Funeral services to celebrate Nat’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, at St. Bruno’s Catholic Parish, 226 Ottawa Ave., Dousman, WI 53118, with visitation at 10:00 a.m.
