William ‘Bill’ Wedesky
July 13, 1943 Sept. 3, 2015

William “Bill” Wedesky became our angel on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at the age of 72.

He was the devoted husband for 52 years and best friend for 59 years to Jan; loving dad of Andy (Jackie), Jason, Kevi and Mark; cherished grandpa (papa) of Luke, Jacob, Josh, Aly, Christian and Kalel; and brother of Mary Jo and Joseph. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Bill graduated from Monroe High School, earning varsity letters in tennis, basketball, football and wrestling. He attended University of Wisconsin-Madison and wrestled for the Badgers.

Bill, Grandpa, Papa loved his family and spending time with them.

Bill had the kindest heart and tenderest of souls. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren.

Bill looked forward to the annual fishing trip to Turtle Flambeau Flowage with his boys. He enjoyed attending all programs his grandchildren were in: basketball, wrestling matches, football, gymnastic meets, musicals and plays. Bill was a devoted Packers, Brewers and Badgers fan (season tickets since 1952).

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, September 26, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha, from 1-2:45 PM. A celebration of Bill’s life will be at 3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated.
