John Franklin LeMoine
John Franklin LeMoine of Glendale passed away unexpectedly at the age of 66 on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015.
John was born in Sioux City, Iowa, son of Kenneth and Marian LeMoine.
He grew up with his two older brothers on Lake Lac La Belle in Oconomowoc. John received his undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin—Stout and received an MBA from UW Milwaukee. He worked as an engineer at Aldrich Chemical.
John spent much of his time outdoors, enjoying boating, camping, skiing and paddling the Boundary Waters and lakes and rivers of Wisconsin. He loved cooking for others and enjoyed sharing his home with friends and family. In retirement, John returned to his roots, spending the majority of his time on the water at his home on Lake Kaubashine in northern Wisconsin.
Surviving family include his wife, Marilyn LeMoine of Glendale; sons Michael (Erin) LeMoine of Bayside and Max LeMoine of Fort Collins, Colo.; stepdaughter Kristin Baldini of Winston-Salem, N.C.; brothers, Bruce (Georgia) LeMoine of Watertown and Tom (Roberta) LeMoine of Dixon, Ill.; granddaughter Madeline LeMoine, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lizabeth Bly.

A memorial service for friends and family will be held at the North Reuter Pavilion in Mequon Rotary Park, 4100 West Highland Road, Mequon, WI 53092 from 1-3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27.
