Olga Laven (nee Gerich) (formerly Migdal)
Aug. 16, 1920 — Sept. 27, 2015

Olga Marie Laven was born into eternal life on Sunday, September 27, 2015, at the age of 95.

She is the beloved mother of Richard (Debra) Migdal, Carol (Thomas) Honeyager, and Christine (Thomas) Zokan and beloved stepmother of Richard (Eileen) Laven and Michael Laven.

Olga is further survived by her grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harry Migdal (1970) and Roland Laven (2004), and her son Mark Migdal (2008). Olga adored music and eagerly attended musicals and shows of all kinds. She never missed a chance to go dancing. This passion introduced Olga to the other great loves of her life, her two husbands, who both shared her love of dance.

She met Harry Migdal dancing at the Eagles Ballroom, and after Harry’s passing, Olga was twice blessed in love as she danced her way into Roland Laven’s heart.

Olga also enjoyed bowling, movies and watching the Green Bay Packers.

Both of Olga’s husbands were WWII veterans, and Olga remained an active member of the VFW Post in New Berlin for many years.

Olga’s children carry fond memories of their times together: going to Muskego Beach, attending drive-in movies, northern Wisconsin vacations and baking Christmas cookies.

In their years together, Olga and Roland enjoyed gardening, growing apples and canning their crops.

Olga and Roland hosted many gatherings and picnics, bringing their two families together at their New Berlin home.

For Olga, her family was everything ... her love ... her heart.
