Orville D. Tuskey

Orville D. Tuskey passed away peacefully at his home in Oconomowoc on Oct. 21, 2015, at the age of 89.

Orville is survived by his wife, Ruth Tuskey; children, Scott Tuskey (Leah Braatz), Kathy (David) Dockstader, Debbie (Randy) Knackert, Cathie Roth, and Cindy Roberts; siblings, Robert (Betty) Tuskey, and Betty Stilp; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Richard Krueger, Mary Ann (late Howard) Edwards, Donna (Late Dave) Droegkamp, Edwin “Butch” (Joanie) Krueger, and Laurie (Ron) Maass; grandchildren, Chris (Carrie) Hartman, Stacy (Todd) Grafenauer, Melissa (Jim) Romans, Jennifer Linscott, Ryan Dockstader, Jimmy Riddle, David Riddle, Nicole (Andy) Crawford, Alesha (Andrew) Geiwitz, Ian Roth and many great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Josephine (Koepke) Tuskey; mother-in-law, Mary Safford; Mike Hartman, Kenny Tuskey, Janet Steele and many other relatives and friends.

Orville was born on February 18, 1926 in Merton, WI to Robert and Josephine Tuskey. He served in the military, Army division, Fox Company, 274th Infantry from December 1944 to April 1946. While serving, Orville earned a Bronze Star with Cluster, European Theater Ribbon with 2 Battle Stars, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Presidential Citation, a Good Conduct Ribbon and Victory Ribbon. Orville was a lifetime member of VFW Post 2260.

Orville was the first employee at Dave Droegkamp Heating and Cooling and loved working there for 21 years before retiring in 2003.

A gathering was scheduled for Monday, Oct. 26, at VFW Post 2260 in Oconomowoc from 1:00-4:00 p.m. with military honors to be performed at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to cover funeral expenses.
