Thomas A. Golson

Tom Golson, lifelong resident of Waukesha, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015 at the age 72 years. He was the son of Robert “Butch” and Elaine Orgas. Tom married the love of his life, Donna Graf, on Oct. 18, 1969. He was a proud Army veteran, serving his country in Vietnam. Tom was a firefighter and inspector for the City of Waukesha for 29 years, and a member and past president of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, where he was inducted into the Members Hall of Fame. He was very active in his children’s activities as a baseball coach and 4-H leader, an avid Packers fan and most of all, a loving husband, dad, grandpa and big brother.

Tom will be sadly missed by his children, Tammy (Richard) Fallon and Dan (Reeba) Golson; grandchildren, Callen and Hattie; sisters, Linda (Edward) Wagner, Debbie (Mike) Sie, Sharon (Doug) Rogness and Cheryl (William Meeker) Orgas. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Donna (Sept. 2, 2014).

A visitation for Tom will be held on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015 from 1:30 p.m. until the celebration service at 4:00 p.m. at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. The burial will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring Street, Union Grove, WI 53182 (please meet at the cemetery).
