James ‘Jim’ A. Schmoller
Aug. 22, 1944 — Nov. 2, 2015

James ‘Jim’ A. Schmoller James “Jim” A. Schmoller of Waukesha died on Monday, November 2, 2015, at Waukesha Springs at the age of 71. He was born in Waukesha on August 22, 1944, the son of Herbert and Grace (nee Abrahamson) Schmoller.

He was a 1963 graduate of Waukesha High School and on June 1, 1968, he married Judith “Judy” Lyon. Jim worked for Waukesha Motors/Engine, retiring after 46 years, where he had many co-workers who cared and watched over him in the years before his retirement. At a young age, Jim learned how to fish from his father, a hobby he came to love and together they created many wonderful memories. He was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan, but Jim was most proud to be a father and most recently a grandfather to his new grandson.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 47 years, Judy of Waukesha; his beloved daughter, Jessica (Mike) Gentile of Milwaukee; and his precious grandson, Anthony. He is further survived by his sister Linda (Allen) Fletcher of Waukesha; his brothers-in-law Ron (Fran) Lyon, Bob (Mary) Lyon and Tom Lyon; his sisters- in-law Patty Lyon and Nancy Schaeffer; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Thomas.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6, from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Entombment will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
