Michael M. Chobot |
Michael M. Chobot burst into heaven on Sunday, November 1, 2015, at the age of 46 following a battle with mucosal melanoma.
He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 23 years, Diane. He was the dearest and proudest father of Abbie and Branden, and his sweet kitties, Shelby and Dixie. He is the loving son of Emil and the late Pat Chobot of Germantown; favorite son-in-law of David and Janet Frasier of Rhinelander; little brother to Sharon Chobot and Susan (James) Ponzi, all of Milwaukee; cherished brother-in-law to Kimberly and Jeff Mihelich of Fort Collins; and cool uncle to Heather and Joe Ponzi and Jake and Jenna Mihelich. He is further survived by other loving friends and relatives.
Mike grew up in West Milwaukee and earned a bachelor of business administration in accounting from UW-Oshkosh, where he also met his bride-to-be. He became a CPA and then obtained an MBA from UW-Milwaukee. He coached youth sports and loved the Packers and finally became a season ticket holder in 2013 after spending 20 years on the waiting list. He was a proud member of Elmbrook Church and his strong faith in Christ got him through the tough times in his life.
A celebration of his life to be held in the chapel at Elmbrook Church on Saturday, November 7, at 4 PM.
Mike’s request is that the service be cheerful, with a focus on Christ and friends and family support Diane, Abbie and Branden in the months ahead as they transition through life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests monetary donations be made to Katy’s Kloset, 404 Wilmont Drive, Waukesha, WI 53189.
