Marjorie B. ‘Marge’ Stark

Marjorie B. ‘Marge’ Stark Marjorie B. “Marge” Stark of Waukesha passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the age of 85 years. She was born in Milwaukee, the daughter of Julius and Harriet Glaser.

Marge married the love of her life, Melvin W. “Mel” Stark, on August 5, 1950. She was a longtime member of First Congregational Church, a great homemaker and active in the Waukesha Old Car Club with Mel. Marge enjoyed traveling on trips by car. Most of all, she loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marge will be sadly missed by her husband, Mel, of 65 years; children Daniel (Lynne) Stark of St. Paul, Minn., and Kathleen (David) Mesick of Wauwatosa; grandchildren Elizabeth (David) Bailey, Jordan Stark, Benjamin (Karlee) Stark, Erika (David) Konkel, Sarah Mesick and David D. Mesick; and great-grandchildren Andrew, Caroline, William Bailey and Benjamin Konkel. She is further survived by siblings Dolores Brock and Norman Glaser; brother-in-law Burt Roman; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Connie Roman, Beverly (Frank) Wollock, William Glaser, Keith Glaser, Lucille Glaser, Julius Glaser Jr. and Ruth Purpora.

A visitation for Marge will be held on Saturday, November 7, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the 3:00 p.m. funeral service at First Congregational Church, 100 E. Broadway, Waukesha, WI 53186. The burial will be private at a later date.
