Eloise L. Maine

Eloise L. Maine of Waukesha passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Monday, November 23, 2015, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness at the age of 89. Eloise was born on September 4, 1926 in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of Dwight and Margaret Baumgardner.
She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was an elementary school teacher for over 40 years. Eloise taught kindergarten through third grade and touched many children’s lives. She was an active member at Elmbrook Church for over 30 years, serving in their card ministry, information desk, leading prayer groups, assisting missionaries and much more. Eloise was also a member of the Welsh Woman’s Club. She was a world traveler, visiting Egypt, Wales, the Bahamas and countless others, and also served as a missionary in Venezuela, South America and Kenya. Above everything else, her favorite thing was spending time with her family.
Eloise will be missed by her loving daughter, JoEllyn Paschkewitz; grandchildren, Heidi (Zouhair) Douhab, Tim Paschkewitz and Sarah (Andy) Aken; great-grandchild, Adam “Little Mister” Douhab; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The visitation for Eloise will be held on Monday, November 30, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Doug Schoen will be officiating. The burial will be private.
