TOWN OF DELAFIELD

Vincent N. ‘Vince’ Stromei

Vincent N. “Vince” Stromei of the Town of Delafield went home to the Lord on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at the age of 82.

Vince will be dearly missed by his devoted wife of 49 years, Susan; loving son Joseph; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Marcella Stromei, and brother Nick.

Born in Detroit, Vince worked alongside his father and brother as a brick mason while attending the University of Detroit earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1960. He began his business career during the golden years of the American auto industry at Ford Motor Company, where he met his future wife. He later relocated to Wisconsin working for Allis Chalmers Tractor Division as manager of manufacturing engineering. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, visiting relatives and longtime friends, and tinkering with cars. He was a kind and generous man, a true gentleman and great story teller. Vince proudly served his country in the United States Army.

The visitation for Vince will be held on Saturday, January 9, from 10:30 a.m until the time of the 12:00 p.m. memorial Mass, at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church, W280-N2101 Prospect Ave. (Highway SS), Pewaukee. The Rev. Anthony Zimmer will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association, 620 S. 76th St., Suite 160, Milwaukee, WI 53214.
