Raymond R. Miner

Raymond R. Miner was born to eternal life Dec. 21, 2015, at age 84.
A celebration of life gathering will take place on Jan. 31 from 1-4pm at the Okauchee Legion Post 399 in Okauchee. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Raymond was married to his wife, Shirley Miner; they just celebrated their 62nd anniversary in November. Ray was a past commander of the American Legion Post 399 in Okauchee. He served in the U.S. Army from 1948-1952. Ray was also a former member of the West Milwaukee Fire Department and a former president of the Milwaukee NARI Association.
Ray loved his family: wife, Shirley; children: Kari (Al) Bouton, Tom (Kristin) Miner, and Lisa (Tracy) Steele; grandchildren: Cameron (Melissa) Bouton, Casie Perse, Halle Steele, Rachel Steele, Mackenzie Miner, Madeline Miner; and great-grandchildren: Alicia, Dylan, Cambree and Collin.
He enjoyed spending time camping, playing cards, fishing, golfing and playing bags. His passion was the American Legion; he put his heart and soul into making sure that the Legion ran smoothly.
He is survived by his brother, George (Donna) Miner; sister, Joanne Wiedekind; and other family and friends.
