Kathleen Grosklaus of Waukesha passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016 at the age of 85 years. She was born in Westford Township, the daughter of Anthony and Dora Rego. Kathleen married Herman H. Grosklaus on May 26, 1951. She worked as a receptionist for Baraboo Hospital, the Waukesha County Museum and the Salvation Army. She loved to cook, bake, read and country and classical music. Most of all, she loved her children and grandchildren.
Kathleen will be sadly missed by her children, Timothy Grosklaus, Kristina (Fele Sr.) DeLeoní, and Kevin Grosklaus; three grandchildren, Fele Jr. (Susie), Michael (Chrissy) and Vincente; six great-grandchildren, Mariah, Emilio, Isabella, Olivia, Noah, and Rylee; brother Bernard (Wendy) Rego; sisters, Sharon (Pete) Hess, Jean (Melvin) Cope and Rosemary (the late Dan) Premo, sister-in-law, Shirley; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herman H. Grosklaus; daughter Mary Grosklaus; grandchildren Emelia and Nicolas; brother Roy; and sisters Eleanor (Corky) Pollari and Dorothy (Buddy) Giebel.
A visitation for Kathleen will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. funeral service at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI. 53188. The burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
