Bruce C. Pfeiffer
July 13, 1924 — Feb. 27, 2016

On February 27, 2016, Bruce “Ike” Pfeiffer, proud World War II veteran, was welcomed into his heavenly home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on July 13, 1924, the son of the late Frank and Della Pfeiffer. He served in the U.S. Naval Air Force in World War II as a turret gunner, flying 47 combat missions, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross, air medals with two gold stars, Navy crew wings with three stars, and other commendations.

He was a lifelong resident of Stone Bank, a lifelong member of Kettle Moraine Presbyterian Church, and employed as a salesman by Rundle Spence Mfg. for over 40 years, where he retired at age 72. He was a member of the Land-O-Lakes Hall of Fame, a State Legion Golf champ, Flanagan-Dorn Legion, North Lake Land-O-Lakes Baseball, and the Stone Bank Fire Department.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 72 years, Marian (Bertelson) Pfeiffer; children, Sandra (Ben) VanKorn, Mary (Spero) Kemos, Bill (Sally) Pfeiffer, John Pfeiffer and Aimee Kondziella; grandchildren, Jackie (Bruce) Mallow, Dan (Annie) VanKorn, Tom (Heidi) Kemos, Telly (Angela) Kemos, Nick (fiancée Kristen Anderson) Kemos, Matt (Jenny) Pfeiffer, Adam (Amanda) Pfeiffer, Angie Pfeiffer, Charles Pfeiffer and Jane Pfeiffer; great-grandfather of eight, and great-great-grandfather of one. He is further survived by his loving sister, Judith (the late Francis) Klink; sister- in-laws Aileen (the late Frank) Pfeiffer and Carol (the late Fritz) Pfeiffer; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends too numerous to count.

He was preceded in death by his 10 sisters and brothers and grandson Ben VanKorn.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 5, at Kettle Moraine United Presbyterian Church, N66-W32690 CRK, Stone Bank. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Interment will be in the Gardens of Stone Bank, followed by a reception.
