OCONOMOWOC

Marjorie A. Brereton

Marjorie A. Brereton, 90 of Oconomowoc, formerly of Watertown, passed into glory at AngelsGrace in Oconomowoc on Sunday, March 6, 2016. She was the only child of Jacob and Adelaide Cook and was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gage D. Brereton. She was a beautiful, fantastic lady.

She could and did accomplish anything she set her mind to, learning to fly at the age of 15; applying newly invented, room-sized computers to the federal government accounting practices; building businesses, raising her two daughters, Pamela A. Sier of Stoughton, and Bonnie E. Rieder of Fort Atkinson. She lived life on her own terms and to the fullest, managing all aspects.

She loved her daughters and their husbands, her four grandchildren and her five great-grandchildren, the mountains of Virginia, travel and a good game of cards. She enjoyed people. She is greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at the Shorehaven chapel at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2016. We would like to thank the staff and doctors at Oconomowoc Hospital, the staff at AngelsGrace and the staff at Shorehaven for their loving care. In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to Shorehaven or AngelsGrace in Oconomowoc, or the Salvation Army. Schmidt & Bartelt Notbohm-Kreutzmann Funeral and Cremation Services, 121 S. Cross St., Oconomowoc, is serving the family. For more information, call 262-5674459 or visit www.schmidtandbartelt.com.
