Bruce H. McKinney

Bruce H. McKinney, age 77, of Brillion, died on Monday, April 4, 2016, at Brillion West Haven. He was born on October 22, 1938, in Milwaukee, son of the late Edward and Marguerite (Brusius) McKinney.
He married Judith Hartwig on June 18, 1960. Bruce worked as an accountant in the Milwaukee area and also coached baseball for over 20 years. In 1982, he and Judy purchased and operated McKinney Brillion Bowl until 1994. He then worked at the Ariens Company for several years until his retirement. After his retirement, he worked at the Fremont Citgo station until 2015.
Bruce loved being on the lake and fishing. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion, a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma and the Brillion Optimist Club.
Survivors include three sons, Sean (Barb) McKinney of Brillion, Kevin (Hiroko) McKinney of Chantilly, Va., and Terry (Jane) McKinney of Holmen; five grandchildren, Jamie, Brian, Shannon, Duncan and Keara; a brother, Daniel McKinney of Germantown; and other relatives
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith, on July 22, 1997, and a granddaughter Francine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon on Friday, April 8, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Timothy Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wautoma. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
