Audrey Louise Dowty, age 81, of Milladore, entered into her eternal life on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at her home with her family by her side.
Audrey was born on March 21, 1935, in Rosemount, Minn., to Arthur and Beulah (Hudson) Busch. Audrey married Raymond Dowty on March 29, 1975 in Waukesha, WI. Audrey was employed as a secretary for the Waukesha County Courthouse. After leaving her position at the courthouse, Audrey started a daycare in Mukwonago where she opened her heart and home to children for over 10 years. After retirement, Ray and Audrey relocated to Milladore.
Words alone cannot describe the loving and compassionate nature of Audrey. Her family was the most important thing in her world — she was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Audrey touched the lives and hearts of so many people. She enjoyed making new friends and never passed an opportunity to make a person’s day a little better with a kind word, a shared smile or a prayer. She enjoyed keeping in contact with her family and friends via Facebook and emails. She was the founder of Sowing Seeds of Peace Prayer Club and Audrey’s Friends and Family Recipes Group. Audrey leaves behind a legacy of love and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Audrey is survived by her husband, Ray; children Scott (Heather) Wasson, Jim (Pam) Wasson and Pat (Jim) Jerzak; stepchildren Gidget Looper and Dawn Dowty; grandchildren Jennifer, Cecelia and LaTrenda Carter, Jamie, Jimmy, and Johnny Jerzak, Adam Wasson, Max, Logan and Angelina Wasson, Kayla and Justin Kingery, Zachery Dowty, Renee, J.T. and Josh Looper; many great-grandchildren; sister Elaine (Johnnie) Weekley; aunt Velma Miner; sisters-in-law: Shirley Busch, Gloria Dowty and Laura Bannach; brothers-inlaw Bob, Eugene (Virgina), Paul (Pam) and Jim ( Louise) Dowty; as well as many other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
