Jodi McRae Buchholtz (nee White)

Jodi McRae Buchholtz (nee White) Jodi McRae Buchholtz (nee White) found eternal peace with her heavenly father at home on Sunday, April 10, 2016, following a courageous battle against ALS at the age of 61 years.

She was surrounded by her loving family: her husband of 39 years, Phillip Buchholtz; children Chad Buchholtz (Jessica Pakula), Heidi Buchholtz (Jason Washkuhn) and Jason Buchholtz (Rebecca Williams); and grandchildren McKenzie Buchholtz, Clayton Cartwright, Hannah Washkuhn, Sophyia Buchholtz-Nye, Jason Kivioja Jr., Makayla Kivioja, Chyanna Kivioja, and Noah Buchholtz. Jodiís surviving family also includes her mother, Beverly White; mother-in-law Betty Buchholtz; sisters Sandra (Scott) Koch, Pamela (Jerry) Seidl, and Shelli (Brian) Frederick; brothers-in-law Daniel Buchholtz, Todd (Lisa) Buchholtz and Stuart (Terry) Buchholtz; and nephews, nieces, special extended family members, friends, and her special canine companion, Katie.

Jodi was preceded in death by her father, Donald White; her father-in-law, Gordon Buchholtz; and her grandparents.

Jodi spent most of her adult life as a stay-at-home wife, mom and nana. She was known by those she touched as a very loving, caring, generous, hardworking and talented person.

Those who knew her experienced her gentle touch, tasted her delicious cuisine, and saw and received her many crafted treasures. Jodi will be sadly missed by all who knew her and were touched by her. God bless you, our love, and keep you in his care until we meet again.

Visitation will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 15,at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha, with a funeral service at 7 p.m. Interment on Saturday, April 16, at 10 a.m. at Prairie Home Cemetery, 605 S. Prairie Ave., Waukesha. Please meet directly at the cemetery.
