Frank ‘Thomas’ Warchol Frank “Thomas” Warchol passed away peacefully and comfortably on April 7, 2016, at age 66 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s/ dementia.

He was the loving father of Carey (Tony) North and Russell Warchol and dear grandpa of Shaina. He is also survived by brothers John and Jeff (Sherie); sister Dorothy (Shane) Teigs; and many other relatives and friends.

Dad was a huge sports fan who loved the Packers, Brewers, Bucks and Badgers, whether they were winning or losing. He loved motorcycles and took several cross-country trips. Camping trips, playing baseball, Bible studies and playing cards were also very important in his life. Dad always loved his pets and over the years had several different dogs, cats, a fish tank and a parrot. He also loved ’60s music, old muscle cars/hot rods and had several of them himself !

Past jobs included working at a pizza parlor in high school, at Hostess/ Wonder Bread for about 12 years, pre-arrangement and after-care counselor at several different cemeteries for about 10 years and then a drug and alcohol rehabilitation counselor for about 10 years (he was very proud to have 36 years of sobriety). Over the years, he volunteered many hours at the Waukesha Alano Club, the New Vision Church and at a several men’s halfway houses.

He graduated with the Waukesha South High School Class of 1969 and the Waukesha County Technical College Class of 1993.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the entire staff at Horizon Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon for the love, care and dignity given to our Dad.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 16, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha, from 1:00 PM until the memorial service at 3:00 PM.
