Dorothy F. Honeyager found peace on April 8, 2016, at the age of 92 years.
Dorothy was born in Waukesha on April 27, 1923, the daughter of John and Dorothy (nee Edwards) Mueller.
Dorothy was a World War II U.S. Navy Wave veteran and was a member of the Eagles Club Auxiliary in Waukesha. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Earl Honeyager.
She is survived by daughters Jeannie (Mark) Merz and Jamie (Mike) Rausch and by son Steve (Shannon) Honeyager. Dorothy was the loving grandmother of Noll (Michelle), Taylor (Jessie), Hayley, Evan, Ryan, Zachary and Noah. She was the great-grandmother of Norah, Hayden and Connor. Dorothy is also survived by sister Louise Haerter and brother John (Helen) Mueller. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by parents, John and Dorothy Mueller, and by sister Emily and by an infant son.
A memorial gathering for Dorothy will be held on Tuesday, April 19, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha, with a memorial service at 7 p.m.
