Lawrence ‘Larry’ Goetsch
Lawrence “Larry” Goetsch of Summit passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016, at the age of 90.
Larry was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison and served in the U.S. Army in Panama, Japan and Korea. He was a car salesman at Hornburg Motors in Hartland for over 20 years and then sold insurance. He was active in Toastmasters, the Oconomowoc VFW, the Hartland American Legion and the Hustisford Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Frieda; children William Harold Goetsch and Julie Edna (Jerrie) Boyer; stepchildren Jane Fenno, Robert Soleske, Kathryn (Ken) Watkins, Kami (Henry) Klingman, Kory (Patty) Van Dorf and Kipp Van Dorf; grandchildren Nicholas, Samuel, Kimberly, Chelsea and Morgan; step-grandchildren Michael, Adam, David, Jeremy, Benjamin, Alec, Stephanie, Kristi, Kristin, Kyle, Sydney, Sawyer, Katie and Jack; great-grandson Preston; and step-great-grandchildren Otto F., Aubrey, Ben, Nauali, Zak and Brooke.
He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Diderrich.
A funeral service was held Monday, May 2, at the Evert-Luko Funeral Home, Hartland. His final rest is in St. Paul’s Episcopal Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials, may be given to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Emmanuel UCC of Dousman or the charity of donor’s choice.
