Kenneth W. Oakleaf

Kenneth passed to eternal life Monday, June 13, 2016, surrounded by his children at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care. He was born March 4, 1937, in Chicago.
He joins in eternal life his parents and wife of 20 years, Judith Oakleaf, whom he married August 11, 1990. He made his home in Waukesha. He worked for Johnson Controls for 20 years before retiring. He was a member of Christ the Life Lutheran Church, where he enjoyed ushering and socializing. He loved spending time with family, hosting family gatherings and trips to Cable Lake. He especially loved being on the water.
He is survived by his children Susan (Scott) Jacobson, Robert (Mary) Oakleaf, Michael (Joanne Juhnke) Linda (Becky Richendollar) Oakleaf, David (Laura) Oakleaf and Cari Kaemmerer (Mike); stepchildren Cynthia Alexander and Patrick (Joyce) Barnhart; his grandchildren Phillip, Melissa, Mark, Kevin, Danielle, Thomas, Lydia, Miriam,Jason, Christian, Jeremie, Ella, Quentin, Stephanie, Lindsay, William, Abigail, Caitlin and Colin; brother Ronald (Marilyn) Oakleaf; sister Carol (Donald) Westland; and brothers-in-law Vernon (Donna) Hopp and Gerald (Debra); and cherished by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 17, at Christ the Life Lutheran Church, 3031 Summit Ave., Waukesha. The Pastor Timmothy Heath will officiate. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin.
