Harold was born in Waukesha on November 27, 1934, and passed away peacefully at Seasons Hospice on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the age of 81.
He was the loving husband of Helen (nee: Irwin).
He is also survived by his sister-in-law Barbara Irsch; nephews Chris (Susan) Niggemeier, Christopher, Patric; niece Jennifer; other relatives and friends.
Harold was a machinist for most of his life and spent time making and building things. He won the Waukesha Soap Box Derby in 1948. He built small model cars for General Motors Fisher Body Guild, and raced go-karts at Badger Race Track in Dousman. Harold was a longtime member of the Flying Electrons built and flew model airplanes at their field in Menomonee Falls.
Visitation will be Monday, June 27, 2016 at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound, Waukesha, from 5 p.m.-6:45 p.m., followed by a funeral service 7 p.m.
