Lloyd J. Findling
Lloyd J. Findling of Waukesha passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 72. Lloyd was born on July 23, 1943, in Neenah, the son of Julius and Bernice Findling. He graduated from Waukesha High School and attended University of Wisconsin-Madison. Lloyd married Lorraine Meyer on June 11, 1966. In early years, Lloyd was a carpenter and was an avid outdoor sportsman. Later, he turned his love for the outdoors to a career starting a business manufacturing muskie lures under the trade name, Hi-Fin Tackle.
He spent his time traveling the country and going up north to their cabin. During the winter months, he went to sport shows selling his lures.
He will be missed by his sister, Janice Wilson; nephews, Josh Wilson and Jay Wilson; and the many Wisconsin fishermen which he influenced during his lifetime. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Lorraine.
The visitation for Lloyd will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the 6:00 p.m. memorial service at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI. 53188. Burial will be on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Prairie Home Cemetery (Please meet at the cemetery office).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the American Cancer Society, N19-W24075 Riverwood Drive, Waukesha, WI 53188. Lloyd’s family would like to thank Judy Berthelsen and Sue Kazell for their care and time over the past several years.
