Lynn R. Zimmerman, 71, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at her home.
Lynn Rose Hause was born on October 18, 1944, in Waukesha, the daughter of Loyal and Carol (Sevenz) Hause.
On July 13, 1968, she married Charles Zimmerman at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waukesha. Lynn farmed with her husband in the Town of Clyman. She had been a teacher in Milwaukee and Clyman.
Lynn was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Watertown and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clyman. She had also been a member of the Plattdeutscher Verein Auxiliary, Lynn was an avid bowler, she enjoyed gardening, doing puzzles and games and reading.
Survivors include her husband Charles; their children Timothy (Nicole) Zimmerman, Thomas Zimmerman and Cathy (Jon) Peik; two granddaughters, Sophia and Azelia Zimmerman; and two grandsons, Eli Peik and Ryan Zimmerman. She is also survived by sister-in-law Nancy Hause, other relatives and friends.
Lynn was preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Zimmerman; her parents; and a brother, Larry Hause.
A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 20, at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clyman with Father Michael Erwin celebrating. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the church.
