Ricki Peter Goshgarian

Ricki Peter Goshgarian passed to eternal life July 8, 2016, at age 72, reuniting with his beloved parents, Barge and Ruth, and his sister Vicki.

Rick loved life and lived it with his own unique spirit. His talents were many, and he worked and played with enthusiasm, making countless friends along the way.

He was a champion at shooting skeet, trap, sporting clays and handguns, and considered Waukesha Gun Club a second home. He also excelled at archery (recurve, compound and traditional long bow), participating in many national tournaments and the 1972 Olympic trials. Other sports such as motorcycle riding and skiing took him through many adventures. Hobbies he loved included photography and most recently, custom knife making. He also took great pleasure in feeding his backyard wildlife.

His passion and expertise in all these pursuits was shared through teaching, mentoring and wonderful stories. He was born with “the gift of gab” and this, combined with his varied interests and outstanding memory, made him a master at sales. He used his great people skills working at places such as Gander Mountain, Don & Roy’s, Mike Crivello’s, and the Waukesha Freeman.

Rick was loved and will be deeply missed by family and his many friends.

A gathering of remembrance will be held in September.
