MaryAnne ‘Sue’ Charolette Wilson
Feb. 14, 1951 — July 9, 2016
MaryAnne “Sue” Wilson, 65, passed away on July 9, 2016, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Fla., with her family by her side. Sue was born in Brookfield and graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School in 1969. She resided in Hartland, Oconomowoc and Green Bay before retiring in The Villages, Florida.
Sue was loved by all who knew her. She had a zest for life, and was known by her family and friends for her caring and loving spirit. She had a generous heart, and was always thinking of others before herself. She was a hard worker and could do anything she put her mind to, as evidenced by the many careers she held in her life. Sue’s most demanding job was managing the apartment complexes owned by her and her husband for 22 years, retiring less than two years ago.
Sue loved to garden, golf, play cards with family and friends, and travel the country in the motorhome with her family. She visited all 50 states with her husband.
She loved to entertain and was always there when others needed her.
She will be missed by her husband of 45 years, Jerome Wilson; son Jeffrey Wilson; daughter Stephanie Vander Zanden and husband Matthew; her two grandchildren, Blake and Zoe Wilson; her brother Peter Eiche and wife Shirley; along with many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Marion Eiche; her brother Cliff; and her sister Melanie.
A memorial service will be held for Sue in November in The Villages, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the ALS Association at www.alsa.org, an organization that Sue volunteered with in support of a close friend.
