Harold L. Lindholm

Harold L. Lindholm of Mukwonago was called home by his Lord and Savior on July 29, 2016, at the age of 90. He is survived by his loving wife, Lois, and he was the beloved dad of Fred (Judee) Purdy of Mukwonago, Char (Paul) Goebel of Watertown, Gary (Peggy) Lindholm of Tomahawk, Chris (Angel) Lindholm of Mukwonago, Barbara (Willie Williams) Evans of South Milwaukee, and Debbie (Richard) Staedter of Crystal Lake, Ill. He is further survived by his sisters Luella Mendini and Arline Rice, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Binger and Anna Lindholm; wife Helen Lindholm; wife Elisabeth “Tip” Wolf; brothers Edwin and Bernard; and sisters Beatrice Edwards and Lucille Meineke.

Harold was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in East Troy, American Legion Post #375 of Mukwonago, Military Order of the Cooties, and the Mukwonago VFW. He served his country with the U.S. Navy during WWII. Harold was born in Iron Mountain, Mich., and moved to Mukwonago shortly after the war. He retired from Wisconsin Centrifugal after many years of working there. He enjoyed deer hunting, traveling, and was an avid reader.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 4, at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 930 Main St. (Highway ES), Mukwonago, from 1:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at Oak Knoll Cemetery with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to American Legion Post #375 of Mukwonago.
