Olegario DeLeon of Waukesha was born to eternal life on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016, at the age of 90.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Emelia; beloved son, Jose Armando; and his beloved grandchildren, Emelia Kathleen and Nicolas Armando DeLeon.
He was the loving father of Jose Filiberto (Kristina), Olegario Jr. (Anna), Jose Eradio (Ann), Joe A. (Carrie) DeLeon, Maria T. (Ramiro) Molina and Amanda (David) Kubisiak.
He was the proud grandpa of Jose Jr. (Susie), Michael (Chrissy), Vincente, Christopher (Stephanie), Olegario III, Melissa (Dr. Gene), Erin (Greg), Jessica (Steven), Adriana, Danica, Anita (Martin), Amanda (Jesus), Mario and Priscilla (Andy). He was the great-grandpa of Mariah, Emilio, Isabella, Olivia, Noah, Rhylee, Drew, Cole, Alejandro, Isabella, Tyler, Antonio, Isabella, Anabella, Autumnrose and Fernando.
Olegario was loved and will be remembered by other relatives, friends and his beloved cat Simba.
Olegario was a real handyman and loved gardening, cooking, especially making flour tortillas and walking in the neighborhood.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 25, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road, Waukesha, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Visitation will also be held on Friday, Aug. 26, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 824 N. East Ave., Waukesha, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will follow.
