Beverly Best (nee Janka)

Beverly Best (nee Janka) was called to heaven Sunday, September 4, 2016, at the age of 71.

She was the loving mother to Lori Garbett (Heilberger), Ann Kessenich and Jackie Kessenich; sister to Victor Janka and Allan ďAlbieĒ (Lynn) Janka; and grandmother to Crystal, Joe, Shane, James, Robert, Michael and Siera. She is also survived by nieces and nephews Cindy, Shirley, Barbara, Thomas, Theodore, William, June, Gloria, James, David and Judy, and by many beloved family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor Janka and Alberta Janka (nee Obleness); sister and brothers Marge Salentine (nee Janka), Ralph Janka, William Janka; and husband, Edward Best.

Bev was a longtime employee at Samís Club in Waukesha for over 25 years excelling in various positions, and the last 10 years as a leader in the bakery. She was a former owner operator of Kessenich Loom and Knit shop in Wauwatosa. Her love of baking and knitting won many awards at the Wisconsin State Fair.

She also loved to play bingo.

A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, September 14, with visitation from 5pm to until the time of the service at 7pm at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha.
