John Leffler |
March 2, 1973 — Sept. 5, 2016
John Leffler lived, and he did it with style. He may have only had 43
years on this blue marble, but he packed 10 lifetimes into them.
March 2, 1973 — he toured the nation on the back of motorcycles and in
the most eclectic cars you can find. Making friends and history along
the way. His physical tour ended on Sept. 5, 2016 — “What a long strange
trip it’s been.”
Now he is truly free. He was loved by many and will be missed. He is a
great, great man. There will be a celebration of his life at the E.B.
Shurts Building, 810 W. College Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186, on Friday,
September 16, from 4 pm to 7pm. Please feel free to come and share
memories, fellowship and good food. Contact Kay Martin with any
questions at 262993-0938.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in his name to the St.
Jude Cancer Research Center.
He is survived by his father Paul Leffler and sister Kelly Leffler; BB
mother Kay (Gary) Martin; siblings Joshua (Courtney) Martin, Molly
(Mike) Otto and Betsy (Jon) Herden; nieces Lilly and Maydeane; nephews
Wyatt and Beckham; his childhood best and dearest friend John Gaidosh;
his employer Chris, and fellow employees at Edgewood Nurseries since
2012; and many more relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a lot of other people, it isn’t a race.
Phenomenal do doo be-do-do.
