Felix Feyerer of Waukesha passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016, at the age of 93 years. Felix was born on November 9, 1922, in Austria, the son of Adolph and Francesca (nee Benele) Feyerer.
His family moved to Canada when Felix was young. He served in the Canadian Navy during World War II. Felix met and married Katherine and then began his career at International Harvester. Around 1970, Felix was transferred from Hamilton, Ontario, to Waukesha. He met his future wife, Virginia “Ginny” Schuldenberg, at a wedding and they were married on January 8, 1977. In 1982, Felix retired from International Harvester after 32 years. He had a great love for traveling and has been all over the world.
Felix will be deeply missed by his daughter, Joanne (Brent Dawson) Feyerer, and his “adopted” granddaughter, Heather (Shawn) Frazier. He is further survived by other relatives and friends in the U.S., Canada and Austria.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Katherine; his second wife, Ginny; his parents; and brother Joseph Feyerer.
The visitation for Felix will take place on Friday, September 16, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. The Rev. Curt Frederick will be officiating. The burial will take place privately at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, N88-W13600 Main St., Menomonee Falls.
