Mary Therese Murphy, 82, of Cambridge, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at London Lodge in Cambridge. She was born September 16, 1933, in Appleton, the daughter of Dr. Leo J. and Elvera (Johann) Murphy.
Mary was a Sister of Notre Dame until she was 38 years old. She was a gifted singer and pianist, who used her gift to bring enrichment to others until her final days.
Mary also served as a guidance counselor director for the Kettle Moraine Public Schools for 35 years.
She is survived by her siblings the Rev. Patrick Murphy, Leo J. Murphy Jr. M.D., Anne Murphy-O’Neil, Thomas Murphy, Michael Murphy and Kathleen Murphy, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Elvera.
A memorial Mass will be at 11 AM on Monday, September 17, at London Lodge, W9095 London Road, Cambridge, WI 53523. Interment following services at 1 PM at St. Mary Help of Christians Cemetery in Sullivan.
