Amanda P. Roark of Palmyra passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 20, 2016, at the age of 24.
Amanda was born on May 24, 1992, in Seward, Alaska, the daughter of Charles Truex and Marie Roark.
She graduated from Palmyra-Eagle High School with high honors in 2010.
After graduation, Amanda attended UW-Waukesha and Fox Valley. She had passion for music and art. Amanda always enjoyed nature and being outdoors, but most of all, her greatest joy was being with her friends and family. She will be remembered for her personality and her ability to make everyone smile.
Amanda will be greatly missed by her mom, Marie; her beloved Aunty Kim; her grandpa, Ed; her brothers, Joey and Cy; her sisters, Amber and Angie; and her uncle, Marvin. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie; her beloved uncle, Ronald; and her grandmas, Theresa and Ann.
A celebration of Amanda’s life will be held on Saturday, October 29, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the American Legion in Okauchee, N50- W34750 Wisconsin Ave., Okauchee, WI 53069.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Amanda’s family.
