Russel Stewart passed into the arms of God on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, after a brave fight with cancer. He courageously fought cancer with the help and devoted care of his loving wife, Yuying.
He was born in Milwaukee and graduated from North Division High School in the Class of 1954. He worked as a bricklayer and mason for many years and constructed over 300 homes in the Waukesha area. After receiving his brokerís license, he worked in real estate and was proud to be a member of the Realtorís Association for more than 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, Yuying Chen Stewart; three daughters, Cathleen (Luis) Hernandez, Cheryl (James) Glisch and Bonnie Stewart (John Duffy); stepdaughter Michelle Beck (Meoh Ching Cheong); grandchildren Amalia (Zachary) Covell, Andria Hernandez, Eric, Katie, and Chad Glisch, Margaret and Liam Duffy; great-grandsons Mason and Myles Covell; brother, Jack Stewart; and sisters, Delores Brazzoni and Linda Bradley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Leonor Stewart; his wife Charlene; and sister Carol Hotzel.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, November 12 (Russelís 81st birthday), from 10 AM until time of the service at 12 noon at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha.
