NORTH PRAIRIE |
Patricia I. Roche (nee Armfield)
Patricia I. Roche (nee Armfield), age 77, of North Prairie, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by her family after a long illness.
Patricia was born in Manhattan, New York, the daughter of the late Paul and Juanita (Corley) Armfield. She grew up and went to school in Buffalo, N.Y.
Pat's mother died when she was 3 years old and Pat spent some years in a Catholic orphanage in Albany, N.Y., which made her very sympathetic to the handicapped and needy. She thanked God every day for having Timmy, a special needs child, who helped her daily in her many challenges since becoming Ill. Pat worked in food service and managed the Heartstone Cafe in Waukesha for several years, teaching adults how to work in in the food service industry and later the food court at Brookfield Square Mall. When Pat retired, she enjoyed her winters in Mexico and later in Florida. She loved to bake and cook, always had a compassionate heart for all animals, and enjoyed trips to the casino.
Patricia was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
She will forever be missed by her husband, Donald of North Prairie; children, Dana of Jefferson, Douglas of Waukesha, Timmy of North Prairie, and Cheriee of Illinois; and stepchildren, Stephanie of Appleton and Gregory (Vicki) of Florida. Patricia was loved and will be remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives, and her many dear friends.
