NORTH PRAIRIE/ WAUKESHA
Ann (Kuhtz) Koehler
Loie is now officially a saint, as anyone who had been touched by her selfless, loving care had already known. Born March 8, 1945, to Bill and Kay Kuhtz, she was raised up to the loving arms of God on November 15, 2016, surrounded by her husband of 49 years (Jack) and all five of their children, Doug (Chris), Jackie (Wayne) Schindler, Karen, Matt (Krista), and Charlie (Tracey). Loie was deeply loved by her 12 grandchildren, 10 brothers and sisters, numerous sisters-in-law and brothers- in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Loie spent her life caring for others. She did child care in her home while her children were small, then spent many years as a home care aid with the Visiting Nurses Association before becoming the coordinator of Helpmates, which provided senior home care services, until her retirement. Loie will be remembered best for her beautiful smile and contagious laugh.
Her spirit of love will flow through us and fill our hearts. May everyone who knew her share in that eternal peace and spread it to the rest of the world.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 25, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Ave., Waukesha. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM with a memorial service at 4:00 PM. A reception will follow (location yet to be determined). All are invited to come and share their memories and how their lives have been touched by Loie.
